Star Clash - United Federation of Planets Report
Stardates 2/2504.01 - 2/2504.10 (Days 1-10)

Task Force 24
2/2504.01 Task Force 24, at Outpost 1 breaks into two forces:
Task Unit 24-1: Hancock, Minsk, Mervina, and Tuscumbia. This unit will move to Wall at Warp 8 to arrive in 2 days. Vice Admiral Kinneson is with this group.
Task Unit 24-2: 12th Destroyer Division, 25th Destroyer Division, 1-5th Scout Division, and Task Force Support Ships. This unit is to move to Wall at Warp 6 to arrive in 5 days.
2/2504.03 Task Unit 24-1 arrives at Wall.
2/2504.04 Tuscaloosa and Omaha arrive at Wall and join Task Unit 24-1. Task Unit 24-1 immediately departs for Farkin to arrive in 10 days.
2/2504.05 Task Unit 24-2 arrives at Wall and immediately departs for Farkin at Warp 6 to arrive in 10 days.
2/2504.09 Task Unit 24-1 arrives at Farkin. As it approaches the system its sensors pick up one Size B and two Size A Klingons warp signatures, which quickly depart the system heading "west".

Task Force 65
2/2504.01 The 294th Patrol Division (Eridani and Sagitarius) were detached from the force as assigned to the garrison of Star Base 10. The 552nd Escort Division (Remora, Moray, Edward, and Wapmona) were attached to the force from Star Base 10.
2/2504.10 Task Force 65 arrives at the Flood system and detects three Size B Klingon contacts, which quickly depart the system heading "west".

Task Force 89
2/2504.01 Task Force 89, at Federation Outpost 2 breaks into three forces:
Task Unit 89-1: Defense, 76th and 79th Destroyer Divisions, 349th Scout Division. Rear Admiral T'nek is with this unit on the Defense.
Task Unit 89-2: Resolution, Lifeforce, Fishton, Dianna, Badger, Bache, and Barnett.
Task Unit 89-3: Alberto Sabella and Grayson.
Task Unit 89-1 heads to Schneiter; Task Unit 89-2 departs for Meadow; and Task Unit 89-3 moves slowly to Colil.
2/2504.02 As Task Unit 89-1 approaches the Schneiter system it detects two Size A Federation warp signatures. The force is greeted by the systems garrison of two Greyhound warpshuttles. The leaders are happy to see the force, but disappointed that it will not remain to protect them from the Romulans. The unit departs for Gamon.
2/2504.04 Task Unit 89-1 approaches the Gamon system. It detects five Size B and nine Size A Federation warp signatures. All but one ship, the Defense (Nelson scout), remain out of detailed detection range. While pleased to see a patrolling Star Fleet force, they are not anxious for it to stay, as they fear it could lead to Romulan interest in their system. They are politely pleased when the fleet announces its intentions to leave within a day. The task unit heads for the Satterfield system.
2/2504.04 Task Unit 89-2 enters the Meadow system. On approach the force detects two Size A Romulan warp signatures. Both remain near the system's inhabited planet. The only communications from the planet are obviously aimed into the Romulan Empire, and are in code. Following orders not to start any fights, without penetrating deep into the system the force turns toward Colil.
2/2504.05 Task Unit 89-3 enters the Colil system. When challenged by AOFW forces (two McDonald class frigates), it says it has classified communications for the Colil Squadron. The unit is allowed to enter the system, temporarily. There they meet the Colil Squadron (see Special Federation Intelligence Briefing for composition). The unit is under orders to remain at Colil for three days until Task Unit 89-2 arrives.
2/2504.06 Task Unit 89-1 enters the Satterfeld system. It is met at the edge of the system by the system's home defense fleet; Protector (Loknar frigate), Defender (Larson destroyer), Guardian (Larson destroyer), Shield (Remora gunboat), Buckler (Remora gunboat), and Dagger (Pulsar warpshuttle). A gala ball is quickly arrange to celebrate the arrival. Everyone is extremely polite and obviously happy at the fleet's presence, but is disappointed to hear that it cannot stay. Upon its departure, the fleet sets a course for the Currie system.
2/2504.07 Task Unit 89-1 approaches the Curie system. It is met by two Larson class destroyers. As it nears the inhabited planet it detects two Fenlon class monitors in orbit. The planet asks for reinforcements; which are politely denied, noting the strategic needs of the fleet. Leaving Currie, the unit head toward Flitner.
2/2504.08 Task Unit 89-2 enters the Colil system. The unit is allowed to enter the system, temporarily. Task Units 89-2 and 89-3 merge into Task Unit 89-2. The enlarged force sets a course for Flitner.
2/2504.10 Task Units 89-1 and 89-2 rejoin outside the Flitner system. Task Force 89 detects two Size A Orion warp signatures. One of them, the gunboat Ranmorson (Guardian gunboat) meets the fleet at the edge of the system and asks about its business. Entry to the system is politely, but firmly denied.

Other Units
2/2504.01 The sector commander decided that a notable reorganization of the local garrisons was required. The following movements were ordered:
The Astoria is ordered from Laflin to Wall to arrive in 1 day.
The Tuscaloosa and Omaha are ordered from Outpost 2 to Wall to arrive in 4 days.
The Kiev is detached from Task Force 24 and ordered to Laflin to arrive in 4 days.
Coridon and Stockholm are detached from Task Force 24 and ordered to Outpost 2 to arrive in 14 days. This is designated as Detachment 1.
2/2504.03 Astoria arrives at Wall and joins Task Unit 24-1.
2/2504.04 Tuscaloosa and Omaha arrive at Wall and joint Task Unit 24-1.

Common
2/2504.06 Communications from the Rockhaven system indicate that a Klingon force of eighteen Size B and six Size A warp signatures are approaching the system. The system's two warpshuttles are being sent with representatives to the Federation and AOFW to request help. The Klingon force enters orbit. The last communication from the system is that troops are being beamed down.
2/2504.09 The Rockhaven system reestablishes communications. The Klingon force has unexpectedly withdrawn its troops and departed the system.

Reinforcements
2/2504.10 The following ships have arrived at Star Base 10:
Dur Rok (NCC-5702) Cle Dan Mk I AR VI
53rd Destroyer Division
Tannenberg (NCC-4303) Larson Mk VI DD VII
Marathon (NCC-4310) Larson Mk VI DD VII
1st Division, 382nd Patrol Squadron
NCC-21000 Scorpio Mk I PG II
NCC-21125 Scorpio Mk I PG II
NCC-21126 Scorpio Mk I PG II
NCC-21129 Scorpio Mk I PG II
Note: Scorpio class corvettes are small, system defense craft, primarily intended to defend fixed positions. Although they are able to move at warp speeds between systems, they are NOT capable of extended operations in open space. As in this case, they must be accompanied by a larger ship (the Dur Rok) when moving any significant distance.
